Claude Code training for Patterson teams

Learn Claude Code the way your team will use it

Section titled “Learn Claude Code the way your team will use it”

Claude Code reads your codebase, edits files, runs commands and verifies its own work. That is a different tool from an autocomplete, and it rewards a different set of habits. This course teaches those habits: what Claude can see, how to steer it, and how to configure it once so the whole team gets the same behavior.

Every lesson is grounded in the official Claude Code documentation, and every claim links back to its source. Work through it in order, or use the sidebar to go straight to the thing you need today.

Six modules, 30 lessons

From your first session through skills, subagents, hooks, MCP servers and plugin distribution. Each lesson closes with questions that check you understood it — 66 across the course.

Six hands-on practicals

The lab sets Claude Code up in a repository you actually work in: project memory, permissions, context budget, your first extensions, then packaging it for the team.

Eight prompt artifacts

The prompt library carries the long templates in full — agent creation, plugin manifests, hook configurations, skill frontmatter — parameterized and ready to copy.

One documentation index

Every official page cited across the curriculum, in one place, with the lessons that cite it.

If you have never opened Claude Code, begin at Getting started. If you have used it and want it configured properly, go to The .claude directory. If you are setting a team up this week, work the lab end to end and keep the reference index open beside it.
